Release of a voting rights announcement pursuant to section 21 para.1
WpHG (Securities Trading Act):

Fidelity International, with its registered office in Tadworth, Great
Britain, notified us in the name and on behalf of FMR LLC, Boston,
USA, on 2 September 2008, of the following:

On 27 August 2008, FMR LLC crossed above the threshold of 10% of the
voting rights in Q-Cells AG. On that date, FMR LLC held 10.03% of the
voting rights in Q-Cells AG, arising from 8,242,062 voting rights.

All voting rights in Q-Cells AG were attributed to FMR LLC pursuant
to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
