Jelmoli Postpones Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting

The Board of Directors of Jelmoli has decided to postpone the
Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting, originally scheduled for November
5, 2008.

The reason for the postponement is that the finalization of the
refinancing arrangements for Jelmoli's current debt facilities will
require more time than anticipated in light of significant changes in
the financial market environment. The Board of Directors considers it
to be in the best interest of the company and its shareholders to
finalize the negotiations with the debt providers before the
shareholders are asked to vote on the strategic Plan. A new date for
the extraordinary shareholders meeting will be communicated in due
course.
