On November 13, 2008, the voting interest of Baillie Gifford Overseas
Ltd. in Q-Cells SE exceeded the threshold of 3 % and on this date
amounted to 3.02 % (this corresponds to 2,481,091 voting rights).

All of these voting rights are attributed to Baillie Gifford Overseas
Ltd. in accordance with sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
