MorphoSys Recognized as Technology Pioneer 2009 by the World Economic
Forum |

MorphoSys AG (FSE: MOR; Prime Standard Segment, TecDAX) announced
today that the Company has been recognized by the World Economic
Forum as a Technology Pioneer 2009. The World Economic Forum has
selected 34 companies out of more than 320 applications from 15
countries for their accomplishments as innovators, and their work's
current and future impact on business and society.
The Technology Pioneers program of the Forum aims to recognize
companies that have contributed to the Forum's mission of improving
the state of the world and are at the forefront of technology and
innovation. To be selected as a Technology Pioneer, a company must
be involved in the development of life-changing technology innovation
and have the potential for long-term impact on business and society.
In addition, it must demonstrate visionary leadership and show all
the signs of being a long-standing market leader - and its technology
must be proven.
