Design Hotels AG Suspends Xetra Continuous Trading Facility Till Further Notice

Berlin - 19th January 2009. Design Hotels AG (Regulated Market,
Munich: LBA; ISIN: DE0005141006) today announces it will suspend the
continuous trading facility for its shares on Xetra from 1st February
2009 till further notice. Main reason has been the very limited
trading volume in the Company's shares over the past few months.
Management believes that the benefits of transparency and liquidity
currently do not outweigh the costs related to maintaining the
continuous trading facility on the Deutsche Börse AG platform.

Management does intend to reinstate the continuous trading facility
when conditions change. The shares of Design Hotels AG remain
tradable at the stock exchanges in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg
and Stuttgart as well as through a daily auction on Xetra.
