CleanEquity Monaco Sponsor & Presenting Companies Update |

London, UK, 3rd March 2009. CleanEquity Monaco 2009, the
international environmental technology conference taking place on
19th and 20th March, is pleased to announce that Nissan Motor Company
(Japan) will be sponsoring this year's event. This global leader in
car design and manufacturing is a prolific investor in clean
technologies including fuel cell, hybrid, and clean diesel vehicles.
The centrepiece of Nissan's strategy for the next few years will
focus on electric vehicles. The company aims to develop a range of
high-quality electric vehicles that are safe, attractive, affordable
and fun to drive. The all-electric vehicle will be introduced in the
United States and Japan in 2010 and globally in 2012.
Nissan joins the existing group of sponsors lead by Barclay's Wealth.
Regional host of CleanEquity is the Monaco Chamber of Economic

As well as providing visibility for the presenting companies,
CleanEquity Monaco 2009 will display several cleantech vehicles. This
fleet includes the ErockIT hybrid motorcycle - an electrically
powered bike that amplifies pedal-power by a factor of up to 50 - and
the Cambridge University Eco Racing (CUER) team's Affinity - a
completely solar-powered prototype car capable of speeds of up to 80
kph. On display also will be the Indian manufactured Reva and the US
Tesla Roadster (0 to 60 mph in 3.7s, 350 km range), both of which are
powered by lithium ion batteries.
