Steinhausen, March 10, 2009 - After seven years of service as a
member of the board of directors of Carlo Gavazzi Holding AG,
Dominique Fässler has decided not to stand for re-election at the
forthcoming shareholders' meeting scheduled for July 23, 2009. Dr.
Giulio Pampuro, chairman of the board of directors, comments that
Dominique Fässler has made significant contributions during his
tenure in identifying and streamlining the strategy of the Carlo
Gavazzi Group. On behalf of the board of directors and the management
Dr. Pampuro has expressed his regrets and, at the same time, best
wishes to Dominique Fässler.
