Beaulieu Exploitation SA to be integrated in the MCH Group

Corporate news announcement processed and transmitted by Hugin AS.

announcement.

The MCH Group (formerly MCH Swiss Exhibition), on the one hand, and
Beaulieu Exploitation SA and the Fondation de Beaulieu, on the other
hand, - the operating company and owner of the Congress and
Exhibition Centre Lausanne - have signed a letter of intent to
integrate Beaulieu Exploitation SA in the MCH Group. The MCH Group is
intending to expand its business activities in the French-speaking
part of Switzerland in this way, while the status of Lausanne as an
exhibition and congress location is enhanced at the same time.

The operating company, Beaulieu Exploitation SA, is to be run as an
independent company within the MCH Group, with a local management.
The Congress and Exhibition infrastructure will remain in the
ownership of the Fondation de Beaulieu, which will rent it out to
Beaulieu Exploitation SA as in the past. The Fondation de Beaulieu is
intending to invest some CHF 100 million in modernising the
infrastructure over the next few years, with support from the public
purse ("Beaulieu 2020" project). The political decision-making
process should have been completed by the end of 2009.

The successful implementation of this modernisation project is a
prerequisite for the MCH Group's commitment in Lausanne. And, subject
to the examination and negotiation process producing a positive
result too, MCH Group AG will submit a takeover offer to the
shareholders of Beaulieu Exploitation SA. These shareholders include
primarily big companies from the region, as well as SMEs and small
shareholders.

"Integrating Beaulieu Exploitation SA will enable us to strengthen
our business activity in the French-speaking part of Switzerland and
expand our offerings on the Swiss market", explains René Kamm, CEO of
the MCH Group. "We will be able to provide an infrastructure
commensurate with the size of the location and the geographical
catchment area in Basel, Zurich and Lausanne, and exploit a large
number of synergies. We will then have a greater range to offer our
customers, allowing them to work the Swiss market even more
effectively and efficiently. "
