Erik Hansen to be elected by the General Assembly

Basel, Switzerland and Newport Beach, CA - April 24, 2008 - Day
Software, a leading provider of Global Content Management Software
and Content Infrastructure Software, announced today that the Board
of Directors recommends to the General Assembly the election of Erik
Hansen as a new member of the Board.

Erik Hansen has thirty years of experience in sales, marketing,
technical operations, alliance and business development at software
companies in both the Europe and the United States. Until the
beginning of 2008 he was Senior Vice President and General Manager
for EMEA at Interwoven. Prior to joining Interwoven in 2005, Erik
held senior management positions with leading technology vendors such
as TIBCO Software, Siemens or Apple. Hansen is a Danish citizen and
lives in Switzerland since 2007.

The Board of Directors also recommends to elect Ariel Lüdi for an
additional three year term as a member of the Board as Lüdi's
previous term expires in 2008.

The General Assembly of Day Software Holding AG takes place on May
15th 2008 in Basel.
