CEO will take on responsibility provisionally

Dortmund: The Supervisory Board of ELMOS Semiconductor AG and Dr.
Rottmann have come to a mutual agreement that Dr. Rottmann will
resign from office effective April 30, 2008. Due to differing views
on the future sales policy Dr. Rottmann will conclude his function
for the company. Dr. Rottmann has worked for the group since 1992 and
has been a member of the Board of Management since October 1, 2005.
He is leaving to address other duties.

The CEO Dr. Anton Mindl will head the departments provisionally.

ELMOS Semiconductor AG is a producer and developer of system
solutions on semiconductor basis. For more than 20 years, roughly 90%
of sales have been generated with chips for automotive electronics.
