Bitterfeld-Wolfen, 18 September 2009: Q-Cells SE (QCE; ISIN
DE0005558662) today welcomes over 70 institutional investors and
analysts to "Solar Valley" in Thalheim for its second capital markets
day.
The day is all about current market developments and technology
trends. In various presentations and discussion sessions, the
management will give an insight into its plans for the company's
future in the fast-moving environment of the solar industry. Based on
its assessment of the current market situation, the Executive Board
will present its concept for meeting the current challenges, and will
give a detailed explanation of the "Q-Cells Reloaded" set of
measures, which was announced with the half-year figures. In
addition, the success and prospects of the thin-film technology of
Solibro will be presented in depth. The guests will also have the
opportunity to visit a production facility of this Q-Cells subsidiary
as well as a Q-Cells cell production line.
