Release of a voting rights announcement pursuant to section 21 para.1
WpHG (Securities Trading Act):

Fidelity International, with its registered office in Tadworth, Great
Britain, notified us in the name and on behalf of Fidelity
Contrafund, Boston, USA, on 23 April 2008, of the following:

On 16 January 2007, Fidelity Contrafund exceeded the threshold of 5 %
of the voting rights in Q-Cells AG. On that date, Fidelity Contrafund
held 5.04 % of the voting rights in Q-Cells AG, arising from
3,755,481 voting rights.

On 1 March 2007, Fidelity Contrafund fell below the threshold of 5 %
of voting rights in Q-Cells AG. On that date, Fidelity Contrafund
held 4.89% of the voting rights in Q-Cells AG arising from 3,837,181
voting rights.

On 13 September 2007, Fidelity Contrafund crossed above the
threshold of 5 % of voting rights in Q-Cells AG. On that date,
Fidelity Contrafund held 5.04% of the voting rights in Q-Cells AG
arising from 3,994,089 voting rights.

On 8 October 2007, Fidelity Contrafund fell below the threshold of 5
% of voting rights in Q-Cells AG. On that date, Fidelity Contrafund
held 4.89% of the voting rights in Q-Cells AG arising from 3,874,589
voting rights.

On 7 February 2008, Fidelity Contrafund crossed below the threshold
of 3 % of voting rights in Q-Cells AG. On that date, Fidelity
Contrafund held 2.89% of the voting rights in Q-Cells AG arising from
2,334,496 voting rights.
