As of the Annual General Meeting of 26 January 2010, Michael Pieper
will be stepping down as a member of the Board of Directors of
Feintool International Holding AG. His successor is Dr Michael
Soormann. A member of the executive board of Franke Artemis Group as
of 1 January 2010, Dr Soormann will be responsible for that group's
strategic holdings.

Michael Pieper will in future be focusing his efforts on the
reorganization of the Franke Artemis Group. His place on the Board of
Directors of the technology group Feintool is to be taken by Dr
Michael Soormann. A German national, Dr Michael Soormann (51) will be
a member of the executive board of Franke Artemis Group as of 1
January 2010. There he will be responsible for strategic holdings, of
which Feintool International Holding AG is one. A business management
specialist with a doctorate in political science, Dr Soormann has
been an executive manager with Franke Group for about two years.
Prior to that, he worked for MBT/Degussa/BASF Construction Chemicals
Schweiz AG for over ten years in a number of different management
posts.

Franke Artemis Group's stake in Feintool International Holding AG,
which it has held for a number of years, will not be affected by the
planned change.

The Chairman of the Feintool International Holding AG Board of
Directors, Alexander von Witzleben, is sorry that Michael Pieper is
stepping down. "The Board does, however, understand the reason for
this entrepreneurial re-setting of priorities. We would like to thank
Michael Pieper for his support, especially in the difficult 2008/2009
financial year, and for all the other valuable work he did for us
during the last two years. We are pleased, moreover, to be able to
present Dr Michael Soormann - a well known figure in the Franke
Artemis Group's top management - as a candidate for election to the
Board of Directors".
